At 9:37 am today (6th), the owner of a money changer on the ground floor of Jiali Industrial Building, No. 33 Tai Yau Street, San Po Kong reported to the police that when he came back to open for business this morning, he found that the iron gate of the shop door was doused with red paint. Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving the report and checked the nearby CCTV footage to investigate the incident. The case was initially classified as "criminal damage" and no one has been arrested yet.
It is understood that the money changer involved has been open at the above address for many years and was vandalized by someone about a year ago. It is not ruled out that the owner is related to a dispute involving over 100 million yuan.
