A fraud occurred in Fortress Hill. At about 4 o'clock this afternoon (28th), a female employee of a restaurant on the ground floor of No. 93 King's Road reported the incident. It said that it had received a call earlier from a man who claimed to be his "boss" and requested to transfer HK$40,000 to a designated account. The female staff member then transferred the money as instructed, but later suspected that she had been deceived. Law enforcement officials have temporarily classified the case as "obtaining property by deception," and no one has been arrested yet.
